According to a report released Thursday by the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association, buyout investors added $25 to $30 billion in value to the Canadian economy and created 114,000 jobs between 2002 and 2006.Take another look - 114,000 jobs created. No doubt - private equity builds value for Canadians.
